How Hong Kong commercial teams prepare CRM extracts for dashboard work

Clean territory reporting begins with field definitions agreed before the first chart is drawn.

Before Service Bloomhub builds a pharmaceutical sales dashboard, we ask for a short glossary: what counts as a completed call, how hospital accounts are coded versus clinic accounts, and which product codes map to the brands discussed in leadership meetings.

Hong Kong teams often run regional extracts that mix SAR activity with wider Asia numbers. Separate those cuts early. A territory view that silently includes outbound regional accounts will overstate coverage for local managers.

Agree on refresh ownership. Dashboards fail when nobody knows who updates the extract after month-end close. Name a data contact and a backup, and write the refresh steps into the handover guide.

De-identify where needed. Commercial dashboards rarely require patient identifiers. Keep the extract at account, brand, and activity level unless your compliance team has approved a narrower set.
